Taxonomy is a complicated subject and can be difficult to understand. Particularly if you are a sheep. In an effort to simplify this, we at The Internet Sheep have devised a much simpler system, dividing all animals into 3 categories with easy to remember rules:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Mammals<\/li>\n
  2. Birds<\/li>\n
  3. Fish<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Classification is simply a matter of answering the following questions in sequence:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Is it a mammal? Yes, then it is a mammal, otherwise:<\/li>\n
    2. Does it fly? Yes, then it is a bird, otherwise<\/li>\n
    3. It\u2019s a fish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Very simple, and works extremely well. Under this new system we can easily see:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • A Cat is a mammal.<\/li>\n
      • An Eagle is a bird<\/li>\n
      • A Shark is a fish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        All good so far, we also rapidly learn:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • A Snake is a fish<\/li>\n
        • A Turtle is a fish<\/li>\n
        • A Wasp is a bird<\/li>\n
        • A Beetle is a fish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Simple!<\/p>\n
