{"id":22,"date":"2009-08-12T11:42:26","date_gmt":"2009-08-12T10:42:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theinternetsheep.com\/blog\/?p=22"},"modified":"2009-08-12T11:44:16","modified_gmt":"2009-08-12T10:44:16","slug":"why-use-a-broker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theinternetsheep.com\/blog\/2009\/08\/why-use-a-broker\/","title":{"rendered":"Why use a broker?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It always seemed counter-intuitive to me \u2013 surely using an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.activeinsure.co.uk\">insurance broker<\/a> for your insurance (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.activeinsure.co.uk\">car insurance, household insurance<\/a> etc.) couldn\u2019t be worth it unless you needed vast amounts of cover, or had really specific insurance needs \u2013 after all, the broker needs to take a cut, and the insurer still needs paying! However, having tried it out, this is not the case. Not only do the insurers offer their policies to brokers at a discount \u2013 on the grounds that they have to spend less on advertising I believe \u2013 but they also offer policies and deals that you won\u2019t find elsewhere.
